Ash Goes To: Glasgow’s Forever 21 launch

IMG_8056 IMG_8045 Hello everyone! A pretty lengthy post here, but I just have so much to report today. It all started with a snow day. Due to the ‘adverse weather conditions’ I knew I wouldn’t make it into uni on time (kinda) so I decided to pop along to the Forever 21 store opening party. IMG_8047  IMG_8065 Now i’d never been the biggest fan of f21, as I could only get the stuff online and in my opinion, the website does the company no favours. I was so pleasantly surprised with the store! It seemed identical to Topshop, with prices that were little over those of Primark. Alongside a little browse, the organisers had secured a bit of music from hot-new-thang Nina Nesbitt. In my opinion she’s a younger version of good old Amy MacDonald, but she really has been making a (good) name for herself in the music industry. I had to clamber through herds of pre-teens to get these snaps- now that’s popularity. IMG_8084

She was the Models Own Manicurist who had helped me to decide that a palm tree would be the best design for my dainty digits.

It’s made of a lovely slinky material, and only came in at £8. I enjoy brightening up my vast selection of dark coloured trousers now.

IMG_8159-2  IMG_8163I just teamed my new tee with my comfy, comfy swan print trousers today. They have an elasticated waistband- they are heaven. I’m so glad i’ve taken the plunge to neon now, JOIN ME!
